L-carnitine is an amino acid found primarily in skeletal and cardiac muscles. Normally, L-carnitine is derived from food, mainly from proteins of animal origin. L-carnitine synthesizes the body in the liver, brain and kidneys from methionine and lysine. 
Its basic function is to support important metabolic processes in the conversion of fats into energy. It is primarily a carrier of fatty acids that it transmits to mitochondria. Here, these fatty acids oxidize, releasing energy. Another important role of L-carnitine is to promote liver detoxification.

• Dissolve in the mouth or chew 1-2 tablets preferably before physical exercise.
