This coix seed lotion toner is a cult-favorite in Japan. It deeply penetrates the skin to hydrate, soothe, and prep the skin for serums and moisturizer. This facial essence is rich in vitamin B and amino acids, to boost hydration and achieve soft, mochi-like skin.
Hatomugi (coix seed or Job’s Tears): A natural anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps calm redness and acne.
Ingredients:

Directions: As an everyday toner: After cleansing the face, pour a quarter-size amount into the palm of your hand. Gently pat the product into the skin, then apply 2-3 more layers, or until your skin is cool and fully hydrated. Follow up with a moisturizer to seal it in. As a mask: After cleansing the face, take several peelable cotton squares and stretch them out by gently pulling on the sides. Then, thoroughly soak the cotton squares with the Hatomugi skin conditioner. After soaking the cotton, apply it to your face. Repeat until you have covered your entire face (forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose). Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes, then remove and pat excess lotion into your skin. Hatomugi skin conditioner can also be applied to the body to hydrate and soothe after sun exposure. |
